An industry icon and one of the most influential and respected colorists in the world, Wood has been at the forefront of the hair and beauty industries for more than 30 years.On his celebrity clientele, he is credited with creating game-changing color techniques that set hair color trends globally, including “hyper natural”, “making gray ok” and “surf kissed”.
"Josh Wood is a groundbreaking colorist with an immense body of work and a unique point of view,” says Shane Wolf, Worldwide General Manager, Redken. “With tremendous expertise in hair color and creating innovative techniques, he is a perfect fit as Redken’s Global Color Creative Director."
In his new role, Wood will serve as a spokesperson for Redken hair color, participate in Redken’s education initiatives and events, provide artistic direction on photo shoots, and offer his product-development vision.
