Brazilian-based professional haircare company, Inoar, has committed to giving back in their community and well beyond. Recently, Inoar gifted the young athletes of a South African soccer camp with new equipment to help them feel like winners, everyday.
The Zikonde Soccer Academy, located in Ivory Park, was founded by a local hairdresser, Shoki Ndaba, to encourage soccer development and youth skills in an impoverished area. Inoar donated soccer kits for the 45 players of the academy and Mikasa professional soccer balls. These are things the players could not have afforded on their own.

Hendrien Kruger, owner and CEO for Inoar South Africa, said that they had been working with Ndaba for more than three years.
“He told us about the soccer academy that he had established and how much potential the youngsters have. Coming from Brazil, a country that believes so much in the sport, we decided to assist him with the soccer kit,” she said.
Ndaba said he was grateful for the new kit adding that it had made a huge difference in the lives of the children. “I am so happy because most of these children are from disadvantaged families and can’t afford to buy their own kit. I am a volunteer coach and do this out of the goodness of my heart. I don’t want money, the only reward I want is to see these children happy and reaching their full potential,” Ndaba says.
Owners start to worry when a month's sales come up short compared to the same period last year, but that may have more to do with the days in the month than with an actual decline. The KIM Report's Alain Audet points to May 2026 as a prime example.
