In February 2017, Hair Cuttery will kick off its 18th year of the Share-A-Haircut program with hair cuts for the homeless on Monday and Tuesday, February 6–7. Since 1999, this charitable campaign has donated more than 2.01 million free hair cut certificates valued at nearly $33 million.

For every hair cut purchased on February 6–7, a free hair cut certificate will be donated back to a homeless adult or child in the community of one of Hair Cuttery’s nearly 900 salons. To distribute the certificates to those in need, Hair Cuttery is partnering with local shelters and community organizations. This February alone, Hair Cuttery hopes to reach thousands of homeless people in the neighborhoods it serves.

“It is an incredible privilege to be launching the 18th year of our Share-A-Haircut campaign this February,” said Dennis Ratner, founder and CEO of Hair Cuttery. “This is a cause that every community can rally behind and help bring the simple pleasure of a hair cut to those less fortunate.”
