Gambuzza’s Barbershop, known for its world-class men’s grooming, just celebrated five incredible years in Austin, Texas. Hailing from Knoxville, Tennessee, this milestone event was made even more special with founder Frank Gambuzza flying in to join the party, offer some expert makeovers, and recognize the thriving community that’s embraced Gambuzza’s since day one in Austin.

Frank’s vision for Gambuzza’s has always been bigger than just haircuts. Nearly 15 years ago, he opened the doors of the original Frank’s Barbershop in Knoxville, aiming to create a space where men could feel at home—a barbershop that’s warm, welcoming, and rooted in quality.

“We wanted to bring a piece of our Knoxville legacy to Austin,” shared Frank Gambuzza. “In these past five years, the Austin community has embraced us in ways we could have only dreamed of, and it’s truly a privilege to be part of such an amazing place.”

The celebration was packed with friends, fans, and even a long-time client who made the hour-and-a-half drive just to be there—a customer who’s been with the Austin location since its very first month.

“Men Belong Here,” is more than a tagline, it’s a philosophy that influences every detail of Gambuzza’s—from the quality of service to the warmth of every interaction.

Looking ahead, the Austin team is excited to keep building on the values they started with in Knoxville and have carried with them to Texas: quality, community, and a real dedication to exceptional service.

The Invisible Work of a Rebrand

In this rare essay, the president of a haircare brand takes us behind-the-scenes into a world we never see when we pick up a product off the shelves--the arduous, thought-probing, second-guessing journey of rebranding a legacy product line.
