Hairdressers Helping Hairdressers, the benefit held last night in NYC raising more than $140,000 for the PBA Disaster Relief Fund for hairdressers victimized by Hurricane Sandy, brought together some of the most powerful and important members of the professional hairdressing community.

Modern Salon Media (me) got there super early to see what was going on behind the scenes. There was a lot of activity at the Wella table, so I went over to investigate. It was too wonderful. I  asked Trend Vision winner Phillip Ferreira to take the lead as a Modern investigative reporter.
