"The Astronaut of Hope collection was designed to support the experience of a cancer diagnosis as being 'launched' into a strange, scary, and isolated environment--much like outer space," says Robert Reed, founder of ERGO Styling Tools. "The Astronaut of Hope represents the bravery required to navigate that unknown territory. It also recognizes the psychological impact of losing one's hair. By supporting scalp cooling, we aim to give patients a sense of privacy, normalcy, and control over their identity during treatment."
