To inspire confidence with California nail professionals who have faced multiple lockdowns this year, one wine brand is donating money to Beauty Changes Lives for every case sold through the holidays.

While the events of 2020 have brought few causes for cheer, BABE, the cute wine with bubbles, is celebrating the professional nail industry’s future with a donation program. Through December 31, 2020, BABE is donating $5 to Beauty Changes Lives for every case of their canned wine sold in California up to $10,000.
This sparkling wine in a can has become a favorite in nail salons across the country who provide wine to their clients. Its convenient canned packaging supports hygienic safety protocols and complies with serving size requirements salons and nail spas must meet to serve alcoholic beverages. As the brand sought a way to give back during challenging times, the beauty industry – particularly nail salons – was a natural choice.
“We’ve seen how nail salons and their customers have been frustrated by repeated lockdowns in 2020, and we wanted to give back as a voice of confidence about the future of this industry and the next generation of nail professionals,” said Rachel Soble, trade experience manager for Anheuser-Busch.
Beauty Changes Lives President Lynelle Lynch said the donation program shows how the beauty industry is on the hearts and minds of brands and individuals. “The shuttering of salons and spas during the pandemic has opened the eyes of consumers and also brands to how vital the beauty industry is to helping people look and feel their best,” she said. The generosity flows both ways, as earlier this year, Beauty Changes Lives partnered with friends in the industry to raise more than $250K in COVID relief grants for organizations affected by the pandemic.
BABE becomes the latest in a growing list of companies that have created unique programs to support future beauty professionals. These creative donations include branded royalty programs, scholarships and mentoring experiences.
