Andis, manufacturer of professional clipper, trimmers and styling appliances, announces a new hire and two promotions within its management team.



Barbara Jewell was promoted to director of accounting. She joined the company in 2009 as controller and has been involved in processes, procedures and projects within the accounting department. Jewell will continue to improve strategies and help develop the direction of the company. She reports to Laura Andis Bishop, senior vice president of finance.

Bobby McIntosh, a second-generation Andis employee, was promoted to service center supervisor. He joined the company in 1989 as an assembler and advanced to material handler, production control auditor and production planner. He will oversee the repair and returned goods departments and monitor parts and material shipments. He reports to Ray Krivsky, quality assurance manager.












Julianne Hlavka joined Andis as customer service manager and will be responsible for improving operations within the department and resolving customer issues. She reports to Gary Stanczyk, vice president of sales. Visit andis.com.
