KEVIN.MURPHY Strengthens New England Presence Through New Partnership with Sullivan Beauty
Bringing global haircare authority closer to the chair, the partnership marks a renewed investment in New England's salons and stylists.
Brian McGee will head up US subsidiary to expand distribution of anti-aging haircare brand.

Advangen Limited, wholly owned by publicly listed life sciences company, Cellemid Limited, has appointed Brian McGee as CEO of their US subsidiary, Advangen LLC. McGee brings 30 years’ experience to Advangen working with some of the most successful and iconic brands in the beauty industry. Through his career, McGee has directed sales, marketing and operations departments as well as successfully bringing international beauty companies to the USA.
McGee worked as a consultant with the Company since May 2019 on their évolis Professionalbrand and has been instrumental in broadening the Company’s existing retail relationships within the prestige market. The product is currently sold at salons, spas and dermatology clinics as well as Neiman Marcus and Bloomingdales.
“I am very excited to be joining the senior leadership team of the Company,” said McGee, “the technology in évolis Professional is one of the most significant scientific discoveries in anti-aging hair care and Advangen is the first company to bring a product to the market with this breakthrough innovation.”
The évolis Professional products were developed by scientists focused on hair biology; specifically, how the FGF5 protein impacts hair. McGee’s key role will be to increase distribution and sales of the évolis Professional products in the US.
Cellmid CEO, Maria Halasz, said “We welcome Brian to the senior leadership team, and we are confident that his extensive experience in beauty retailing will ensure the long-term growth of the évolis brand in the US. His knowledge of the market and broad industry contacts will be critical to continue to make an impact in anti-aging hair care.”
About évolis™ Professional:
The évolis Professional products were developed by scientists focused on hair biology; specifically, how the FGF5 protein impacts hair. Researchers concluded that an overabundance of FGF5 can negatively impact hair, turning healthy hair into thin, lifeless strands, resulting in an increase in hair loss and reduction in anagen (growing) hair. By blocking FGF5, the negative effects can be reversed, resulting in the restoration of hair density, promotion of new growth and the preservation of existing hair strands. Évolis™ Professional product formulations are based on these learnings and are designed to give you your best hair. Formulated without parabens, sulfates, silicones and phthalates. Color Safe, Keratin Treatment Safe and Extension Safe. All évolis Professional products are 100% cruelty free. https://www.evolisproducts.com/
