To celebrate Red 7 Owner David Kafer’s 25th anniversary in the beauty business, his co-owner Jason Hall produced this surprise video for cable television. Kafer, who was interviewed and filmed working with clients for the spot, thought he was working on a project for Salon Today.
“The video appeared on a local program highlighting Chicago’s small business owners,” says Hall, who made sure to get extra mileage out of the slick video. “It was also featured on Facebook, Yelp and YouTube with paid placement ads, and we sent it out via email blast to all of our clientele and industry contacts.”
