New Name, New Look
Nova Salon
Louisville, Kentucky
Owner: Bennie Pollard

After changing the name of the salon from Hair by Bennie & Friends to Nova Salon, Owner Bennie Pollard worked with the Cubero Group to design a series of ads to introduce the salon’s new name and look to the public, as well as to existing clients. “The goal was to generate buzz about our new persona, energize our base of customers and deepen the Nova culture,” Pollard says.

A series of three ads ran in a bi-monthly life and culture magazine that targets high-income areas in the Louisville market. One introduced the salon’s new name to the public, a second showed readers the salon’s new look and a third ad associated the salon’s name with its specialty in hair color services.
