With the goal or raising brand awareness and recruiting more guests, Ihloff Salon and Spa created a special event, The Ihloff Style Sessions, a multi-day event featuring complimentary services, including makeup applications, brow consultations, a braid bar, extensions consultations, color glossing and two special yoga sessions.

The salon partnered with Imaginal Marketing to raise awareness through media coverage for the salon and its non-profit partner, including two TV appearances, print and digital news coverage and social media coverage. They also recruited three digital influencers to visit the salon and experience the Style Sessions firsthand on social media.

“The event netted a $13,083 return on investment,” Marilyn Ihloff says. “Through social media, we reached 84,174 people (a $1,398 organic social value) and through traditional media, we reached 701,228 people (an $11,685 media value).”
