Owner Shelley North’s branding strategy was to have a cohesive look from the signage outside the shop to the marketing materials and even to the branding inside the shop, including the wall colors, décor and logos. Working with Retail Concepts Inc. to tie everything together, North made it her mission that the Glow name and logo easily identifiable in the market place. Bright color of sunshine yellow and turquoise blue work and a sun image logo make their mark.

“In order to create this vision, our budget was roughly $10,000, and although we ended up spending closer to $17,000 with the exterior and interior design, web design and marketing materials, the end result is a prosperous, well-known, award-winning salon that is identifiable by its logo,” North says.
