Maxime’s wanted its website to inspire the same feeling of excitement and beauty as its physical space, so they hired a web designer to recreate their salon on the web while strengthening the Maxime brand. Through glamorous beauty shots of the salon, the site gives users a virtual tour, and its frequently updated beauty blog exposes potential clients to the personalities of the salon team before booking an appointment online. What really makes the site unique is its ability for users to take a one-of-a-kind persona quiz to identify a hair design and beauty image that fits their lifestyle.
“We have a consultation with every new client when they visit the salon, and we wanted to extend it to those we haven’t had the pleasure to meet yet,” Enos says. “When a new client who has already taken the quiz online visits the salon, we can reference their results in order to design a look that fits her lifestyle perfectly.”
