As the busy holiday season approaches, services that offer calm and relaxation are more appealing than ever. At 501 Salon & Spa in Bellevue, Kentucky, owner Kate Moeves and Spa Specialist Brandy Brigham offer just that in the Aveda Tulasara Dual Exfoliating Peel Facial Treatment.

“Tulasara, which means ‘moving toward balance’ in Sanskrit does exactly that,” says Brigham, describing the facial which restores skin’s radiance with botanical ingredients.

PROCESS: “The Dual Exfoliation Peel Facial Treatment is a combination of botanical skin resurfacing techniques and high-touch moisturizing therapy,” Brigham says. “The guests get to experience many different sensations throughout the service via different temperatures and textures. I begin the process by purifying the skin, followed by mechanical and biomechanical exfoliation with the use of dry brushes and the warming plant peel. Following exfoliation is correction using the new Tulasara concentrates. I finish the facial with moisturization and protection of the skin.”

NUMBER SOLD PER MONTH:  “We average 22 Tulasara facials per month and rising! Tulasara was launched in the summer of 2016, so more guests are getting to know about the service.”
