Lupe Voss is an over-achiever…in the best possible way.

In addition to her main job as the founder and co-owner, along with husband Manuel, of the successful Julian August Salon in Redlands, California and a working colorist, Voss is the reigning online hair color helper. She has an uncanny way of seeing color—not just what’s on the surface, but also the natural remaining pigment. But it’s Voss’ generosity of spirit and her willingness to help anyone with anything that makes her one of the most desirable color educators within the Aveda network. Not only does she serve on the Aveda Global Hair Color Team, she regularly plays a role in the creation of the company’s seasonal collections, and she is responsible for the Hair Color Magic educational program which teaches creative placement and the art of formulation for customized color.
