For years, we've watched Nick Arrojo's artistry on the platform, on television makeover shows and in the SALON TODAY 200-now you can see him work some magic on your shelves. During this year's show season the owner of New York's Arrojo Studio, launches the namesake line he's used in his studio, his academy and his cosmetology school. And he does so with a unique understanding of the needs of the client, the stylist and the owner.

Recognizing that there's a direct link between retail sales and client retention, referral rates and salon growth, Arrojo leverages his own award-winning business model as he also launches the Arrojo Ambassadors support program. "The program represents our commitment to provide inspiration and education alongside a great product line," says Arrojo. "We want to empower each professional to increase growth and productivity in their salon business, and immerse fellow hairdressers in our culture of excellence and integrity."

It's a direct-to-salon relationship model, backed by a new membership-based website for Ambassador salons. With every product purchase, Ambassadors receive Arrojo reward dollars that can be redeemed towards a wide-range of educational offerings. The reward dollars can be redeemed for Arrojo's complete line of educational DVDs and web-friendly downloads, tuition for any of the eight seminars at the Arrojo advanced academy, or saved up for a visit from Arrojo educators for training tailored to each ambassador's personal salon needs. Alternatively, reward dollars can also be spent on salon back-bar stock or additional Arrojo product merchandising and marketing materials.

Nick Arrojo with Stacey Soble
Celebrity stylist, educator and salon owner Nick Arrojo shares thedetails about the unique educational program that backs his newlylaunched line.

The support doesn't stop there. Ambassadors get a monthly communique from Arrojo that shares his latest hairdressing trends and techniques, as well as business-building insights and ideas. After joining, salons are entitled to one free seminar for a member of their staff at the Arrojo academy, a free Arrojo education DVD or download, product prescription pads, merchandising plan-o-grams, and product education for the stylist and consumer. Perhaps most exciting, members that excel have the opportunity to work side-by-side with Arrojo and his artistic team at seminars and shows.

The new Arrojo line, which was created to meet the needs of professionals and clients alike, consists of 21 products, including shampoo, conditioner, styling aids and a treatments product. Each styling product is purposefully made to have cocktailing potential, as well as multi-functional uses, features and benefits. The three most important ingredients in the product formulation include Vitamin B5 for moisture, shine and smoothness; rice and wheat amino acids for moisture and elasticity; and an essential mineral mix that nourishes the scalp, prevents breakage and promotes natural cell circulation.
