Branded client apps are no longer just for the large-scale salons, thanks to the new mySALONapp just released by Shortcuts Software.

Salons of all sizes using Shortcuts can now run their own customizable mobile apps, available for their clients to download from the Apple Store or Google Play.

"Apps are the perfect way for salons to, literally, put their businesses in the palms of their clients’ hands, and we wanted to make that technology accessible and affordable for all our clients," says Paul Tate, CEO of Shortcuts Software. ‘As consumers are increasingly glued to their smartphones, these types of technologies can really help salons stand out from their competitors.’

Fully integrated with the Shortcuts system, mySALONapp allows salons to quickly fill appointment gaps with last-minute specials. It also makes it easy for clients to book and manage their appointments online in real-time.  For walk-in based salons, mySALONapp allows clients to check themselves in to the wait-list before they arrive.

A customized version of the mySALONapp.

Salons also have the ability to personalize the look and feel of the app to fit their branding, creating a seamless online experience for users. The app’s pictorial dashboard is designed to be intuitive and simple, allowing clients to flick between segments, whether it is to quickly book an appointment or to check out the salon’s availability.

Clients logging in to the app will also be able to view their service histories and upcoming appointments, quickly link through to the Facebook page, and access useful information about the business – from staff profiles to opening hours.

‘mySALONapp makes sure the brand and personality of every salon shines through, while providing the types of useful tools that create real value to clients,’ says Tate.
