Empowering You Consulting & Training offers salon owners one-on-one coaching, consulting and training, which helps increase profits, strengthen management and leadership skills and develop staff service excellence.

Why we're different: Everyone within Empowering You has owned salons or spas; we are licensed industry professionals and understand the needs of salons and spas in today's marketplace.

How we work: We conduct a four-day salon/spa transformation university in San Diego, California. We provide customized one-on- one business coaching to owners, helping them implement new systems and structures, as well as over-the-phone team coaching to help implement the service systems that support increased sales and success.

Catch us at: Empowering You University, January 9-12 and April 15-18 in San Diego; and at IBS New York, IBS Las Vegas, and more.

Our advice: "Become friends with your numbers, they are the one thing you can manage without emotion; they are the one place you can go to get the real truth."

2011 wisdom: "Stop everything and enter 2011 by creating a clear plan of success. Create your plan by reviewing 2010 results and using that as a basis for your goals."
