Introducing Cosmette, a collection of luxurious, hand-crafted formulations that transcend the ordinary, offering an indulgent experience that goes beyond skincare.
Crafted by Meghan MacGregor, a passionate advocate for clean skincare and a lifelong student within the wellness world, and brought to life alongside co-founders Kailey Konow and Tara Fankhanel, Cosmette is an artisanal skincare line that simultaneously captures the essence of whimsy, romance, sensuality, and raw beauty. Cosmette invites the consumer to embark on a journey where skincare meets enchantment, where romance intertwines with wellness, and where pure beauty is celebrated.
As a mother, Meghan wanted to see more skincare that embraced the unwavering beauty in each of us and created a brand that dug a little deeper into the true meaning of beauty. In 2019, she delved into experimenting with her formulations, sparking an instant fascination among enthusiasts. Encouraged by this reception, she ventured into local farmer’s markets throughout Toronto. This initial success propelled her journey onto Etsy, where she showcased her range spanning skincare, bath, and body products. Recognizing the potential of direct consumer interaction, she transitioned into e-commerce, amplifying her reach. Along this path, she uncovered a desire to weave a richer narrative, culminating in the birth of Cosmette Skincare—a testament to her evolution and ambition.
“Every Cosmette formulation is crafted with ritual in mind. Pleasure can exist in the details of our lives, making small traditions out of daily routines to create tiny pockets of enjoyment within the otherwise mundane,” says Meghan. “My vision was to create skincare rituals that blend the enchantment of childhood with the celebration of our unique inner beauty - timeless and unwavering - casting spells of pure enjoyment and self-care.”
Currently residing by the ocean in Nova Scotia, Meghan is inspired by her connection to the land and the ever changing seasons. The short sweetness of summer and the cold long winters are weaved into the stories of each product. It was against this backdrop that Cosmette was conceived—a skincare collection that embodies the essence of nature's magic.
