Two distinct events, both committed to growth for salon, spa, medspa, and barbershop owners, create one powerful experience of connection, growth, and recognition.

With a shared commitment to help salon, spa, medspa, and barbershop owners grow their businesses, SALON TODAY and Qnity are teaming up in 2026 to host their marquee events—Data-Driven Salon Summit and The FiLL—together as part of SALON WEEK, which will be held in Austin, May 16-20. The independent events will be scheduled adjacent to one another at the Renaissance Austin Hotel, making travel easier and more affordable for owners and sponsors who want to attend both events.
“For more than 25 years, SALON TODAY and Qnity have worked together on important content pieces for the professional beauty industry,” says Stacey Soble, director of brand content strategy for SALON TODAY. “Out of mutual respect, we would contact each other each year to ensure our events weren’t scheduled for the same weekend. When we discovered we were both interested in Austin as a host city for 2026, the idea for Salon Week was born. It’s a week designed for growth, connection, and recognition.”
In addition to Data-Driven Salon Summit and The FiLL, SALON WEEK will include MODERN SALON Boot Camp, The SALON TODAY 200 Celebratory Dinner and Qnity’s Celebration of Lightbulb Moments Gala.
“We believe in community over competition. We are excited to participate in SALON WEEK—it’s one week, and one city, but a number of distinct, powerful experiences,” says Tom Kuhn, Qnity CEO and founder. “Each event will retain its own identity and focus, yet together they create something bigger for the industry. It’s not about blending events, but amplifying impact.”
Data-Driven Salon Summit: Celebrating its 10th year, Data-Driven Salon Summit is a peer-based, hands-on educational experience that brings together the owners and managers of salons, spas, medspas and barbershops to understand how data can lead to better business decisions that fuel growth and success. Each session, panel and breakout focuses on a power metric, such as Average Ticket, Productivity, Client Retention, Client Count or Percentage of Service Guests Purchasing Retail, helping owners not only measure the success of their own businesses, but understand their weaknesses and identify opportunities. Data-Driven Salon Summit is also home to the SALON TODAY 200 Celebratory Dinner, where the honorees of this landmark business competition, recognizing growth and best business practices, are celebrated. In addition, SALON TODAY’s sister brand, MODERN SALON, hosts its MODERN SALON Boot Camp, a full day of beauty business education for service providers in tandem with the first day of the Summit.
The FiLL by Qnity: Entering its 5th year, The FiLL by Qnity is a premier leadership event for salon, spa, medspa, and school owners and leaders committed to elevating the business side of beauty. It blends data, executive-level education, and meaningful community connection into a transformative experience. Through a first-of-its-kind collaboration with The University of Texas at Austin Executive Education, The FiLL brings world-class business instruction directly to the professional beauty industry, bridging the gap between traditional executive training and the unique realities of salon and spa ownership. With high-impact sessions, curated roundtables, and practical tools, The FiLL has become a trusted destination for leaders seeking clarity, confidence, and renewed purpose.
