June 12, 2017 will be the anniversary of the Pulse Night Club tragedy where forty-nine precious lives were lost. Premiere Orlando plans to remember the forty-nine and highlight four individuals who had been part of the beauty industry: salon owners, Juan P. Rivera Velazquez, 37 and Luis Daniel Conde, 39; cosmetologist, Brenda Lee Marquez-McCool, 49; and makeup artist Javier Jorge Reyes. Each of them have a story of love and beauty that through their creative talents impacted many lives. At the show, June 3-5, 2017, Premiere Orlando will be raising funds to create awareness and to support the local LGBTQ community.

"Our events cater to the professional beauty industry," says Howard Britt, owner of Premiere Show Group. "Our community, both professional and personal, were devastated by the tragedy that took place on June 12, 2016 at Orlando’s Pulse Nightclub. Four of the forty-nine lives lost where either cosmetologists or makeup artists and we want to honor them during Premiere Orlando 2017. They were creative individuals that touched many with their talents. Our team believes in the positive impact the beauty industry has had on other sad occasions and we know that together we can make a memorable contribution as well as create awareness that we are all the same and we can make a difference in this world."
