While communication was key for Penzone Salons + Spas during the salon closure, so was their messaging for coming through the other side. On the first day back in the salons, President and CEO Debbie Penzone and Founder and Chairman Charles Penzone proudly posed in front of one of the six locations in their PENZONE Strong T-shirts, masks and with roots and grown-out locks.
The message simply stated the salon was back and ready to welcome 200 guests for socially distant care on grand reopening day. “The hope behind the message was to reassure our guests that we were taking every safety precaution needed in order to make them feel comfortable when they came in,” Debbie says. “We ended the post with our go-to hashtag #penzonestrong. The post received more than 500 likes, garnered 5,000 impressions and reached more than 4,000 accounts.”
