Seven years ago, Tyler Mason Salon Spa teamed up with NFL’s Colts organization to create an October event that honors those affected by breast cancer. From hundreds of nominees, 10 women who are battling or have overcome breast cancer are selected to receive a day of pampering at the salon, a dinner with Colts players and a tour of Locus Oil Stadium. 

The salon is decorated with pink balloon bouquets and the special guests are treated to pink champagne, and pink and white chocolates. They get to select two services from a number of salon and spa offerings and they are treated to a Tyler Mason goodie bag of products.

“The real motive of this campaign was to do good in the community but we get so much publicity from it,” says Owner Tammie Baker. “Each year multiple media outlets visit the salon to do digital, video or print pieces on the event; the Colts promote it and documented the event in a video that’s appeared at games.”
