Owner’s comment:
“We have a Saks 5th Avenue approach to the reception and retail area. Guests are greeted by a lion sculpture that is covered in a mosaic of mirrored tiles and comes to life when the sun hits it. Beautiful Italian lounge couches encompass the guest while they enjoy a beverage from our wine and coffee bar.”

Judges’ comments:
“The entryway is elegant, and that lion is the coolest.” —Connolly

“Bold, bold, bold! A mirrored lion, a zebra-print chair and red retail walls—this salon makes it work.” —Nelson
