Salons of the Year 2017: Art + Science West Loop
While the orange-tiled backsplash and the tray ceiling with inset copper detail bring splashes of warmth to Art + Science located in the West Loop neighborhood of Chicago, a barbershop within the salon's reception area make the design truly unique. Take a tour of this 2017 Salon of Distinction.

Art + Science’s reception area includes a separate barbershop. In the salon, a tray ceiling with inset copper detail brings warmth, color and texture to the room, with light relecting from each station mirror and an orange backsplash in the shampoo area brings a fun pop of color.
Owner’s comment: “This space features a cool run of windows with street exposure, bringing in beautiful, natural light. The cutting area features two chairs for lash and brow appointments for our always-booked esthetician.”
