When it comes to creating and maintaining cool, clean platinum blonde haircolor, it’s all about eliminating warmth, producing an even result and keeping hair as damage-free as possible. Using the new RUSK® Deepshine® Brite White Powder Lightener, RUSK® Designer Maybe Saylor @maybesaylor shows how you can get it done and check all the boxes of safe and effective lightening.
HOW-TO
Formulas
Formula 1/new growth: RUSK® Deepshine® Brite White Powder Lightener + apply 20-volume Shine Enhancing Cream Developer to the regrowth. Pull through the Brite White Powder Lightener to the ends of the hair for the last 5 minutes.
Formula 2/toner: Mix 2 oz. Deepshine® Gloss Clear + 5 droppers (3/4 Cap) Deepshine Gloss Toner Beige Violet + 2 oz. Deepshine Gloss Activating Lotion
Before

STEP ONE: Determine the natural level. Here, the model is a natural Level 2 with pre-lightened ends.

STEP TWO: Section the hair around the parietal ridge, where strands are most resistant to lightening.

STEP THREE: Apply Formula 1 to the new growth from the parietal ridge downward. If you observe any existing gold banding, lighten these areas as well.

STEP FOUR: Continue the lightener application toward the front of the head. If the product begins to dry out, add more developer. Lift the hair to pale yellow, shampoo gently and towel dry.

STEP FIVE: Apply Formula 2 in a zig-zag pattern to towel-dried hair.

STEP SIX: Use the tip of the applicator bottle to complete the application and ensure complete saturation. Process 15-20 minutes. Rinse, shampoo, condition and style the hair.

Watch Maybe Saylor go with the snow and create a pure, clean, even platinum blonde.
