In an effort to get Richard Salon in Smithtown, NY, named ‘Best Hair Salon on Long Island’ by the Long Island Press, owner Richard Daly and his team initiated a heavy social media marketing campaign to get clients and the community to vote for the salon.

“Our win was a big achievement for us in a very high-end market,” says Daly. “The amount of publicity has been priceless, and we have the award and surrounding publicity featured prominently on our website.”

As a result, the salon is up in new guests 64% this year. “The incredible surge of new guests from this hugely influential title was beyond what we could have ever hoped for, and well worth the effort which required zero dollars to achieve.”
