When guests walk through the large-frosted glass doors, they are immersed in a rich history of exceptional advancements in the barbering industry. The first thing they typically notice is the school’s homage to Wahl Clipper Company’s iconic legacy in grooming. Adorning the reception area is a historical clipper display, showcasing the evolution of grooming tools that have shaped the industry for more than a century.
“Alongside, you’ll see photos of our Global Future Makers, celebrating the achievements of barbers and stylists from around the world who are shaping the future of the industry,” Co-Founder Denise Provenzano says. “These displays serve as both inspiration and a testament to Wahl and Pivot Point’s education to educational excellence, setting the tone for the exceptional experience that awaits.”
A number of amenities enhance each guest’s visit. “They can take a moment to relax and unwind before their appointment at our coffee bar, or stay hydrated with a visit to our complimentary water station,” says Co-Founder Frank Ellermeyer. “We believe that it’s the little touches that make all the difference.”
Entering the clinic, students and guests notice the spacious, open-concept design which is flooded with natural light. Meticulously designed to facilitate a high-touch experience between instructors and students, the academy also ensures that every client receives personalized attention and exceptional service.
“Our barber chairs were thoughtfully designed to ensure an unparalleled level of comfort,” Provenzano says. “Crafted with luxurious leather upholstery, each is adorned with the Wahl logo, representing our commitment to excellence. The ergonomic design includes a plush footrest and cushioned headrest, allowing clients to fully relax, whether they’re in for a quick trim or a complete transformation.”
The shampoo area features four stations, each equipped with deep-seated leather chairs and armrests, ensuring that both student stylists and clients enjoy the experience.
Wahl Barber Academy’s commitment to excellence doesn’t stop with its design. It is at the forefront of barbering education, offering a world-class curriculum developed in partnership with Pivot Point Academy. “Our state-of-the-art facility leverages the latest in technology to provide a 360-degree learning experience, ensuring that our students graduate with the skills and knowledge needed to excel in the competitive world of barbering.”
