“Our space was designed so anyone can feel like they fit in. We chose to go with an iron color on the walls to calm nerves and create a sense of coziness. We incorporated the garage door and natural skylights to bring in elements of nature. The exposed brick gives such a raw inspiration, and it is very representative of how we feel about our hair sometimes—it’s a raw slate to be manipulated into art. Soft touches of green plants bring in extra color without diluting the natural feeling of everything. We were inspired by the Restoration Hardware in the Chelsea neighborhood of New York for some of our design elements. Our goal was to not have a specifically masculine or feminine vibe, and I feel we truly hit the mark.”
