2019 Salons of the Year: Totalee on the Alley

Step into the 1920s with this speakeasy-inspired salon. As clients arrive at Totalee on the Alley, a valet greets them and directs them to a semi-hidden steel door. What's on the other side, a luxurious and exclusive vibe, has earned Totalee a Salons of Distinction honor in the 2019 Salons of the Year.

“A valet greets clients at our alley entrance, then directs them to the semi-hidden steel door. Clients have to ring the doorbell to be let into the space. They are greeted by a long, seductively lit hallway where strategically placed wood pieces create a play of movement. Upon entering the salon, a massive Brigitte Bardot mural hangs above the velvety X-shaped sofa. This was delicately carved from layers of fresco-style plaster and engraved on the wall.”
