2019 Salons of the Year: Hair and Body Works
This salon was once a bank, but only a few hints would clue you in. Part of the bank teller counter makes up the front desk and helps pull together the rustic and repurposed look of this space, earning it a Salons of Distinction honor in the 2019 Salons of the Year.

“Our building, which was a former bank, is one of a handful of century-old buildings in the area, and it included many intriguing structural elements. We used lath board salvaged during demolition with the original 1915 bank teller counter to create a one-of-a-kind front desk. Under our loft is the vault, which now acts as a conversation piece as well as conceals our color dispensary.”
