12 Days of ST200: Announcing Philanthropy Honorees
On Day 8 of the 12 Days of the SALON TODAY 200, we announce the 2013 honorees in the category of Philanthropy.

When a salon or spa rallies around a cause and pledges support of time, money and awareness, it reveals its heart and soul. To prove their initiatives were well planned, we asked SALON TODAY 200 applicants to prepare a presentation to the community betterment association which explained how to organize a fundraiser, using their activities as examples. In addition to providing details, we asked them how they engaged clients, staff the, community, and the media, and requested they reveal their results. Bonus points were awarded when salons and spas could prove that their good works resulted in a boost to their business.
The following 2013 SALON TODAY honorees will be profiled in the best practice category of philanthropy.
