Ted Gibson has many reasons to honor Vidal Sassoon and celebrate his efforts as an industry icon and visionary. Ted is also an industry icon and visionary. It was no surprise then that Ted was invited to give the introductory speech at Emiliani's Runway V, the Tribute to Vidal Sassoon held last night in Edison, NJ.

"He really changed the world for all of us," he told me after rehearsal and before heading out to the red carpet. "I was fortunate to meet with him often, and he was totally supportive of my efforts to get an Oscars For Hair on the ballot. The world is a better place because of Vidal Sassoon."
