Garden Center

Phyto's bringing a little green to the concrete jungle that is Manhattan. The new Phyto Universe treatment and training center is an homage to the plant life that Phyto is known for. The center houses the largest vertical garden (hydroponic plant wall) in the U.S. at 2,850 square feet with 9,000 plants on the wall. The six types of plants featured are installed vertically on a special "aqua-nap" that doesn't require soil and come from locations around the world: the Amazon, Africa, Guyana, the Caribbean and French Polynesia.

Phyto keeps the plants alive with a custom irrigation system with 14 different zones and 70 special UV lamps that are on for about 16 hours each day, providing plants with the light they need.
