Dominic Michael Salon of Clayton and Chesterfield, Missouri continued its long-standing relationship with young talent in the design world by partnering with the 82nd annual Fashion Design Show for the Sam Fox School of Design and Visual Arts at Washington University.  Held on May 1, the annual event celebrates the work of young designers while giving the program’s six seniors and nine juniors a chance to present their capstones.

The event also marked the 20th year that Dominic Bertani, owner of Dominic Michael Salon, has partnered with Design Show by doing the models’ hair. In addition, Bertani presented the Dominic Michael Silver Scissors Award to one outstanding senior at the end of the evening.

 “I love being a part of this event, because it is always so encouraging and creatively inspiring to work with these young designers,” said salon owner Dominic Bertani. “They are so passionate about what they are doing, and it inspires my team as well. My goal in working with them is always to show off their hard work and talent.”
