The top-three most beauty-obsessed U.S. cities are Portland, Salt Lake City, and Austin, which means these cities top the list of the most beauty businesses per resident.

Booking a beauty service is a popular way for consumers to support local businesses and keep up with popular beauty trends. But some cities have more demand, and therefore more treatments available than others. 

Online beauty and wellness marketplace provider StyleSeat analyzed Google business listings in the 50 largest U.S. cities to determine the best cities for hair salons and services based on the number of hair-related businesses per capita as well as the average consumer ratings of the businesses. Below are the key findings from the website's blog titled "The Most Beauty-Obsessed U.S. Cities".
