Who do you think of when you think of the Jersey Shore? Well, before Hurricane Sandy, most people would think of the cast of the iconic tv show, "The Jersey Shore". One of the most celebrated members of that group, Snooki, has made a business of branding herself since the show ceased production last season. However, Hurricane Sandy took a toll on Snooki's playground and summer home and she is going out of her way to help the vicitms of the storm.

I caught up with Snooki last night at a press event in NYC where she was promoting her new nail line (which is joining her perfume and Snooki Couture items). Executive Editor Alison Shipley got the scoop on her gorg nails and new haircolor, but I jumped in to find out more about her efforts to help out in the devasated Seaside Heights area.

"The shore is like my second home," she says. "We are all distraught. I am donating personally but the whole cast is getting together to help in the storm relief."

Snooki, JWoww, Pauly, Vinny...the whole cast, as well as cast members from The Real Housewives of NJ, One Direction, Nicki Minaj, Britney Spears, Phillip Phillips among so many others are joining forces to ask for donations during the November 15 RESTORE THE SHORE telethon on MTV.  THAT'S TOMORROW. All proceeds will go to Architecture for Humanity to help rebuild the Seaside Heights area.

In this interview, Snooki tells us all about her personal efforts (including the TEAM SNOOKI van) to bring peace and stablization to her second home. Please check out your local listings to find out how to tune in to the MTV telethon and how to donate.
