SalonJobs, a hiring platform built specifically for the beauty industry, announced that Mangomint is backing the company as it expands into new markets across the country.

Mangomint is a top-rated salon and spa management platform, used by small business owners across the beauty and wellness industry for scheduling, payments, and day-to-day operations. The company has heard for years from salon owners how hard hiring can be. It is partnering with SalonJobs to help make a better hiring resource available to the community it already serves.

The partnership will allow SalonJobs to remain free for both beauty professionals and salon owners as the platform grows.

SalonJobs was created around a simple problem: hiring in the beauty industry doesn't work particularly well on general job boards. A stylist's experience is more than a list of job titles, and a salon's culture can matter just as much as the position itself.

The platform gives beauty professionals and salons visual profiles, along with search filters for services, specialties, and pay structures including commission, hourly, and booth rental. Hundreds of salons in the Northeast already use SalonJobs to hire, and the platform is expanding across more geographies soon.

This new sponsorship will not change the user experience. Existing profiles, job posts, and applications will stay where they are. SalonJobs will continue to operate independently from Mangomint, and the platform will remain free to use, whether or not a salon uses Mangomint.

"Hiring is one of the hardest challenges salon and spa owners are facing right now. Traditional job boards like Indeed and LinkedIn are not set up for this industry. They lack the creative capabilities needed for stylists to display their skills and owners to communicate their culture." said Daniel Lang, co-founder and CEO of Mangomint. "Mangomint alone can't solve the hiring challenge. But we can support the right tools that help our community grow. We're proud to back SalonJobs, and excited to see what's next."

For SalonJobs, the partnership means more room to build and bring the platform to more places.

"We've been focused on building something that works for the way people actually hire and find jobs in this industry," said Carolina Cordoba, brand manager, SalonJobs. "Mangomint's support allows us to take what we've built and bring it to more cities without changing what people already like about SalonJobs."
