The Joseph Anthony Salon and Spa is a stunning 24,500 square foot beauty oasis in Glen Mills, Pennsylvania. The 137 employees roam throughout the multi-level building that offers a full spa on the top floor and 16 cutting and 12 color stations on the main level. This free standing space opened in June of 2007, after serving clients in a nearby strip mall since 1979.

Modern stopped by while visiting salons with Depasquale President Joe Mastalia who prepared us by saying "You aren't going to believe this place." Indeed, it is shocking. Co-owner Joe Gagliotti, Jr. offered a tour which, because of the size, we had to do in 2 separate pieces: one for the salon, one for the spa.

Before leaving, we just had to ask Joe if the larger space makes life easier...or more challenging. He's a diplomat: "Having a larger space gave us the opportunity to service more clients and have more services," he says, "but at the end of the day, the most important impact on our business is our way to make every client feel like he or she is the most important person."
