Rosy Salon Software is pleased to announce the winners of the seventh Rosy Rewards scholarship program. Offered exclusively for future salon professionals, this $10,000 annual scholarship fund is designed to give cosmetology students throughout North America an opportunity to further their education by providing funds to help cover a portion of their tuition.
This quarter’s Rosy Rewards scholarship includes $500 for each of five equal winners. The scholarships are paid directly to the participating school and are to be applied towards the students’ tuition.
The Rosy Rewards scholarship board has named the following winners (in no particular order):
Melissa Pavel
Ogle School in Fort Worth, TX
Rachel Daloise
Casal Aveda Institute in Youngstown, OH
Taylor Watts
Kenneth Shuler School of Cosmetology in Florence, SC
Alexandra Aaron
The Paul Mitchell School in Richland, WA
Rician Walker
Ea La Mar’s Cosmetology & Barber College in Kansas City, MO
“This quarter, we decided to spread the Rosy Rewards scholarship winnings out to more recipients, so we chose five winners. The idea is to help more students and give them a leg-up in their chosen career,” said Jim Bower, founder of Rosy Salon Software.
With a new set of rules and entry guidelines, the next quarterly deadline for the Rosy Rewards scholarship is May 15, 2018. Students who are enrolled in cosmetology school within North America at the time of the deadline are eligible and can enter for themselves or be nominated by others in the industry.
