The generosity of global salon professional hair care brand PRAVANA and its loyal customers is benefitting the Beauty Changes Lives Foundation. PRAVANA is donating a portion of its sales from its best-selling NEVO Intense Therapy Leave-In Treatment to the Beauty Changes Lives Foundation. PRAVANA’s generosity translates into $17,000 raised to support the Foundation.
Lynelle Lynch, president of the Beauty Changes Lives Foundation, said the success of the fundraiser held between July 1 and August 31, 2017, recognizes the dedication of the PRAVANA brand to make a difference. “We are thrilled to have been selected as the charity for PRAVANA’s fundraiser to give back to the industry. Utilizing the SalonCentric network to promote the fundraiser boosted awareness of the Foundation’s work across hairstylists and the nation,” Lynch said.
The promotion’s visibility in more than 560 SalonCentric locations in 48 states helped educate hairstylists about the advanced scholarships Beauty Changes Lives offers to licensed hairstylists. In-store signage, end-caps and aisle displays promoted the fundraiser and informed hairstylists of how their purchase of NEVO Intense Therapy would benefit the Foundation. Lynch said hairstylists play an important role in raising awareness of the Foundation and its mission to unite the industry while elevating perceptions of beauty and wellness careers. “We hope that PRAVANA’s generous gift will be a catalyst that encourages all beauty brands to engage with the industry through their own unique initiatives,” she said. “We’ve always known that the professional beauty industry has a heart for giving back, and through the generosity of PRAVANA and the hairstylists who love its products, we’re seeing that big heart help support the future of our industry.”
Philanthropy is integral to the PRAVANA culture. The company has established a legacy of giving, supporting initiatives ranging from food security to breast cancer awareness and assistance for families impacted by domestic violence. A long-time contributor to City of Hope, PRAVANA works with charities as an active partner, to make a difference in the lives of hairstylists, their clients and the communities in which they live and work. “We are so very appreciative of the generosity of PRAVANA and the hairstylists who are supporting the future of professional beauty education through their purchase of NEVO Intense Therapy Leave-in Treatment,” said Lynch.
