Farouk Shami, the founder of Farouk Systems, has announced his return as Chairman and CEO of Farouk Systems, Inc, after a short retirement.
On April 8, 2016, Farouk Shami announced his return as Chairman and CEO of Farouk Systems, Inc. Shami, who founded the haircare company that includes brands CHI and BioSilk in 1986 out of Houston, Texas, announced his son, Rami Shami, will return to the business to run daily operations.
Shami's executive team also includes Andre Chiavelli, executive vice president global sales, marketing, education and public relations; Stuart Feldshon, senior vice president of North America; Scott Emery, vice president of international;and Lisa Marie Garcia, vice president of product development and innovation, whowill continue to build and expand their roles for this next phase of growth.
"Together, we are determined to succeed and lead by offering our great professionals the most innovative environmental products, services, education, shows, marketing and advertisement to increase all revenues," says Shami, who is returning to the business after a brief retirement. "Our facilities in Houston are now about two-million square feet and growing. We couldn’t be more excited to see what is next."
