Booker Teams Up with MapQuest

Booker offers salon customers expanded visibility with partnerships with first Yelp, and now MapQuest.

Booker, a leading cloud-based platform that unifies operations and automates marketing to help service businesses run and grow successfully, today announced a partnership with online maps and directions pioneer, MapQuest, Inc., to provide merchants with expanded local visibility. This partnership will enable Booker’s health, wellness, and beauty merchants to be both discovered and bookable directly within MapQuest’s reimagined local discovery platform and map.

“Booker strives to provide its merchants with the best tools to attract and book customers at every point of discovery,” said Josh McCarter, CEO at Booker. “We are excited to team up with MapQuest as they continue to be a leading local discovery and travel planning tool.”

By partnering with MapQuest, Booker merchants will expand their local visibility to MapQuest’s audience that averages 40 million visitors per month.”

Booker merchants who are discovered via the MapQuest platform will automatically have a “Book Now” option that will enable their customers to schedule appointments directly from MapQuest. Scheduling will be powered by the Booker widget and will take place directly on MapQuest for a more streamlined experience.

“By partnering with Booker, MapQuest offers our users the ability to secure appointments around the corner, across town and even around the world with our local discovery tool already used by millions every day,” said Brian McMahon, general manager, MapQuest. “For the myriad of consumers using MapQuest for travel planning, the ability to book spa appointments is a relevant enhancement to the overall travel experience, especially for those using MapQuest to find and book hotels.”
