In its 23rd year, the SALON TODAY 200 is the professional beauty industry's landmark business competition. It celebrates and recognizes the business acumen of salon owners across North America, creates a forum where they can share their successful ideas and provides important data that salons across the country can measure themselves against.

The class of honorees for 2020 will be annouced over the course of 12 days starting on Monday, December 2. This year's honorees will be announced category by category through the 12 Days of the SALON TODAY 200 on salontoday.com and through SALON TODAY's Facebook page.

This year's applicants will be notified whether they made this year's list or not via email shortly before Thanksgiving, but they will not know which categories they will be honored in until the 12 Days of the SALON TODAY 200 premieres. Applicants are allowed to enter in multiple categories, and they may collect multiple honors.

This year the competition added a new best business practice, Salon Leadership. This category recognizes owners who continually educate themselves on leadership practices through conferences, books and courses, as well as those owners who successfully create and support paths of leadership for their team members.
