Deliver More Personal Client Experiences with Phorest AI
AI is changing the way businesses operate, but in the beauty and wellness industry, one thing remains true: the human touch is irreplaceable.
New updates allow colorists to plan ahead for the day's appointments, plus expands access for Android users.

Five years of research involving thousands of stylists has steered a new update of the ground-breaking Vish color technology. Rich with enhanced features and fully loaded with color profit potential, the all-new Vish is now live on both the iTunes and, for the first time, Google Play stores.
“Working closely with stylists who have used Vish to mix millions of formulas since 2018, the update includes a new, streamlined look, making it easier than ever to mix quickly and effectively track every service,” says Joshua Howard, CEO of Vish.
Vish launched on an iOS platform in April 2018, sparking a radical new approach to salon color management. Built with both the stylist and business owner in mind, it filled a vital gap in the color department, making it easier for the stylist to record formulas while allowing real-time data of services delivered – and their level of profitability. In 2022 alone, Vish captured more than $17.5 million in additional revenue for salons.
“We’ve listened to our users to ensure their day-to-day experience of Vish is flexible, seamless and efficient. Our updated version includes the new Plan Ahead™ feature,” adds Howard. “Stylists will have the ability to login on their cell phone and look ahead at their day's appointments, saving formulas before or during the consultation.”
The update to include Android also means greater flexibility for owners when designing the color bar and choosing products, opening up the option to use their personal choice of tablet. Further Vish tech enhancements are planned for release in 2024.
