Shortcuts is upping its North American Support Team by almost 25 percent in response to rapid growth driven by a spate of amazing innovations from the salon tech giant. A newly created development lab in Toronto plus a new help desk team will continue high-quality support to Shortcuts’ growing family of salons in North America.
“Over the past year, we’ve introduced a series of innovations and partnerships that are really focused on helping our salons cope with the business disruptions that are changing the very core of how we live,” said Jo Burgess, co-founder of Shortcuts. “The innovations have brought more salons into our family so we are investing in and building the team to put more people on the ground to provide excellent support and advice to all our salon partners.”
The creation of a development laboratory in North America allows Shortcuts to lead innovations that are tailored specifically to American and Canadian salons, while still tapping into the worldwide network of Shortcuts tech wizards that have made the software one of the leaders in salon-specific technology.
Meanwhile, the expansion brought by the new help desk presence in Toronto combined with the well-established help desk in Huntington Beach, California, will strengthen the unique 24-hour support available to every client as well as work directly with the development lab to drive further innovations.
“Investment in our expanding team will reinforce our guaranteed coast-to-coast coverage across North America, boosting our support to thousands of salons,” added Burgess. “As a legacy brand that introduced the concept of salon-specific technology to the industry, we know that investing and innovating are key to providing the best service for our clients. And we intend to keep on doing that.”
