Millennium Systems International (MSI), the maker of Meevo, an award-winning salon, spa, and med spa software platform, recently launched MeevoPay Giving, a new capability that allows businesses using MeevoPay to offer guests the option to make a charitable donation to industry nonprofits directly at checkout.

MeevoPay Giving was created on the simple belief that the beauty and wellness industry has always been about caring for people. By transforming checkout into a simple moment of generosity, businesses can help guests turn everyday visits into meaningful support for industry causes that matter most. With a quick prompt on the payment terminal, guests can choose to make a small gesture that truly adds up, helping salons, spas & med spas extend their impact far beyond the chair or treatment room.

MeevoPay Giving enables voluntary donations to be presented on the payment terminal after a guest completes their purchase. If a guest chooses to donate, the contribution is processed as a separate transaction and routed directly to the selected charity. One hundred percent of each donated amount goes to the charity, and participating businesses incur no transaction fees or costs on donated funds.

"We’re absolutely thrilled with the release and early successes of MeevoPay Giving! It was a joint effort that materialized in cooperation with a variety of industry leaders, partners, and executive sponsorship,” said Matthew Scudder, Chief Payments Officer at MSI. "We service industries that are innately communal and philanthropic, and this offering further accentuates MSI’s continued commitment and dedication to those industries, our clients, and overall community.”

At launch, MeevoPay Giving supports over 100 charities & nonprofits including beauty and wellness industry nonprofit partners:

Beauty Changes Lives (BCL), an organization dedicated to empowering the next generation of beauty professionals through education and career opportunities.

“MSI's decision to become the first Point of Sale (POS) company to offer a giving program in support of Beauty Changes Lives is a powerful example of leadership in action. We are honored to partner with MSI and are deeply grateful for their commitment to supporting the beauty and wellness industry. Their commitment to BCL helps fund education, scholarships, and professional advancement—ensuring a stronger, more inclusive future for our entire community,” said Lynelle Lynch, Founder of Beauty Changes Lives.

Wigs and Wishes, a nonprofit providing wigs to individuals experiencing hair loss due to medical conditions.

“MeevoPay Giving makes fundraising for nonprofits like ours effortless and therefore effective. In just three weeks, we raised $800 through this feature alone. That’s enough to provide three women battling cancer the opportunity to walk around with high-end, complimentary hair replacement options & restored confidence, for free. For any beauty business owner looking to support a nonprofit close to their heart, I 100% recommend MeevoPay Giving. It’s integrated, professional, seamless, and it turns everyday transactions into life-changing impact,” said Martino Cartier, Founder of Wigs & Wishes.

MeevoPay Giving is available exclusively to Meevo customers who process payments through MeevoPay. Donations are optional for guests and are clearly presented during checkout. Because donations are processed separately and sent directly to the charity, they appear as a distinct line item on a guest card statement.

Businesses interested in enabling MeevoPay Giving can learn more and submit a request at www.meevo.com/features/meevopay-giving or reach out to MeevoPay_Giving@Meevo.com.
