Through a new partnership with Shortcuts and bgX, salon clients will be able to book a stylist or order a professional product from a number of local salons, and either will arrive at her doorstep within 30 minutes.

A special updo for a big event, a new cut for a job interview, a home color gone wrong—soon clients won’t have to beg salons to squeeze them in for the beauty 911s—instead they’ll be able to request the beauty pro come to them.

Software management company, Shortcuts, recently announced a new global partnership with bgX, a revolutionary on-demand beauty tech service, to help users find and book top hair and beauty appointments and products. The bgX platform allows clients to book a beauty appointment with a number of leading salons. Thanks to bgX’s partnership with Uber, the qualified professional or professional product will come from the salon to the client’s door within 30 minutes.

The partnership with Shortcuts will see the bgX platform integrate into the software, allowing clients to find nearby bgX salons, giving them access to more availability and a wider range of products in real time.

Joanna Burgess, co-founder of Shortcuts, says: “We’re really excited to be partnering with bgX. By integrating our technology platforms, we have been able to create a unique and seamless on-demand booking experience for the client, while driving efficiencies for the salon.”

“Nowadays, customers are demanding immediate services via their mobile apps, and there is a huge demand for beauty services to be delivered in this way,” adds Ali Rafi, BgX CEO and co-founder. “The Uber platform has brought huge improvements in transport and food delivery services, and the hair and beauty services and on-demand haircare products are the net step. Customers will be able to book a stylist to their office, home or work direct from their Smartphone. The partnership with Shortcuts provides an even more convenient and fast service for busy people on the go.”
