Rosy Salon Software has announced a new partnership with Tippy—a DirectTips suite of optimized tipping services that integrates Tippy’s all-in-one guest checkout kiosk with Rosy’s point-of-sale (POS) software to electronically send tips directly to service providers in the salon or spa. The on-the-go tipping solution provides quick, cashless tip payments to staff while saving the salon owner on processing fees.
“Tippy is the ideal addition to our suite of salon scheduling and management software and RosyPay payment processing solutions,” says Rosy Salon Software President Jason Foodman. “When integrated with Rosy, the tipping solution processes payments through RosyPay and passes any processing fees to the client versus the salon or spa. Clients receive the same low processing rates as the salon, while business owners can step aside and allow their salon clients to tip privately and directly. With Tippy, there’s one fewer thing for salon owners to think about.”
The convenience to salon and spa clients and the allure of direct payment of gratuity to staff also make Tippy an attractive benefit for recruiting and retaining service providers, Foodman adds.

The integration of Tippy with Rosy Salon Software is complete with iPads and kiosks rolling out in June 2022. Tippy is available to Rosy and RosyPay users as an add-on service.
